The Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation funds the efforts of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to preserve Texas' natural resources for current and future generations. The foundation preserves the natural wonders of Texas including the Chinati Mountains and the Playa Lakes of the Panhandle. It funds programs and facilities dedicated to the study and preservation of Texan wildlife, including the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation also operates an online general store which sells camping snack mix, baseball caps embroidered with the foundation logo and full size cedar cabin kits which can be purchased and assembled anywhere the customer requests.
